handmade coffee ...!!

i am Italian and "like" a pure Italian , i have my living style....
when i wake up...even my eyes still closed...i have to drink a cup of coffee!!
i said a cup of coffee and not a a TANK of coffee....
in Italy normally we drink coffee in the bar where you can also eat small cakes or sandwich...
Taiwanese people love drink coffee...but actually ...for all of them only STARBUCK or other brand mean coffee....

 

but did you know..how the ITALIANS make the coffee?

do you know what is a moka?

just add some water inside the boiler after that put the filter  and add  some coffee grinded ... close it with the container  and turn on your gas or eletric fire ....and...after few min ... the water start to boil  and here you go... coffee!!

maybe you can find this machine in HOLA or TIAMO store ...

the best italian brand for the moka is BIALETTI and the best italian brand of coffee are: ILLY COFFEE, LAVAZZA , VERGNANO

and many others............. 

anyway...happy day with a cup of coffee...better if are italians!!

ahhhh!!....maybe we are going to change the meaning of "TYPHOON " in Taiwan
well...i remember when i was here for the my first typhoon....all people was so scare...and running at home .... i remember that day ... i saw few people in the street....and like a desert in the city.....
of course raining and wind....but....nothing more then a normal storm!!

so now i wanna show you the typhoon class

when i come here i told  to myself  " i will live in Taiwan "  ...work here...eat the same food and pay the tax like Taiwanese doing...and untill today i am proud of that!!

But today .. i discover a very bad news ... listen this short story and after you can tell me what do you think....

5 Years ago i opened a company "CLIO CO.,Ltd " the company work as a service company between ITALY and TAIWAN . Trying my best to help both country ..i have planned many projects and i'm running it as better as i can...of course i have too..if not who can support me? By the way
5 years ago i run also the "ARC " Alien Resident Certificate ...means Foreigner ID CARD ..and with that i can buy and drive scooters...even rent a house ...means a lot for me....in the middle of november my ARC will expired..so as i did one year ago i send to the TAIWAN Govt. my documents...and with my BAD SUPRISED they denied!!! take a look ....................!!!!

1 year ago (2009)  the govt asked me that the CLIO CO LTD  must run a total Company income  5 times the social capital... so i did all  my best to catch the TARGET  .... and like is happened one year ago they gave me 1 year ARC with expire date NOV 2010... but... the document that i send one year ago was belong 2008 and not 2009 !! (of courseeeeeeeeeeee)

And like 2009 i did  this year too ,totaly the same, so i send the document about 2009 ...
but looks now the funny news

in APRIL 2010  they changed the LAW without any news...(they cannot to send to all companies in Taiwan by mail or pubblish in the newpaper)  ..... and they asking  for 3.000.000NT$  or more .... DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

In 2009 i was running the same system (5 times the social capital) .and ...how can i know..in April 2010  they will change it???? i am magician looking insode the future mirror ??? and as a funny suggestion they told me...."YOU CAN LOOK FOR A WORK IN SOME TAIWANESE COMPANY!!! "

BUT I HAVE ALREADY A COMPANY AND I PAY THE TAX AS A COMPANY....AND AS A PERSON....

THIS COUNTRY IS SO PROUD TO BE NUMBER 1(ONE) AT ALL AND OF ALL !!
BUT THEY MISS SOMETHING....COOMUNICATIONS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS!!

8 years ago when i'm arrived in Taiwan , was wonderful ....every day even monday all places like pub and restaurants was full of people...looks like  the life never stop ...

but !!!

I have to admit that TODAY the life start from thursday (Ladies night) and its easy find many girls around Taichung "very well"  equipped for to hunt...!!
HUNT what??  they pretend to go alone without any housband,boyfriend or whatever...
so i'm asking "what they are going to do alone??"  sawing the socks together in the pub!!
exchange the make-up!!
Was not better call this day ....COMPLAINMENT LADIES  CHAT NIGHT?
Yes!! because ..this day our ladies use to meet each other for to complain about...
WORK,LIVING COST and of course ...."US" !!

By the way many pubs and restaurants are closed MONDAY...and this is terrible....

we eat also monday!!

but don't worry  here the solution!!...

you want to eat something very special?? i suggest to go BYSTRO restaurant grill
you cant image how much is so tasty their steaks and an amazing handmade....hamburger!!

for sure i dont get anythings from this free commercial...their are my friends...and i already try their dishes!

PIZZA in Taichung...yes ..but where?

i have my own opinion for the food ..and i will never stop to tell the people in Taiwan ...and also teach that the best food u can eat..is made by yourself...no matter if is the best , tasty    .is your..!!

If u rent an old appartament you will see something...NO KITCHEN...that incredible...but..is true...! Now the new building already include the kitchen area...but if u just want to live in the centre of taichung and u rent a cheap place no kitchennnnnnnnnnnn!!! if u are lucky you can also find the connection for the gas..if not you need in order to call the company and rent the tank of the gas..so the business for to eat like restaurant is the most one...SPAGHETTI everywhere ..indian..mexican or whatever u want to eat..you will find a place always open (24h) !!..but if u want to eat a pizza? of course NAPOLI PIZZA or PIZZA HUT running business also ..but that i call industrial pizza...and even the taste is good...you can really match "perfectly" the picture of the pizza you choosed .

I dont like to talk about a special place...but.. when i heard about this one ...i was really happy...FINALLYYYY...a real Italian PIZZA is arrived ....
a real oven with real wood...i can't believe...and the PIZZAIOLO is Italian too..making the pizza with his hands...and not with a machine!!
where?  if u want to know where just send a message and i will tell you =) i am not joking~~and you will be not dissapointed...

forse perche' sono straniero o forse perche siamo tutti stranieri ... questo mi fa pensare a tutti gli stranieri in Italia..che comunemente chiamiamo EXTRACOMUNITARI...doveva essere un termire per definire persone che non erano nati nella comunita' economica europea ma con il tempo il termine e diventato dispregiativo.
Tempo fa ero seduto ad un tavolo in un pub e un'italiano che viveva qua' mi disse ...guarda le persone che sono sedute intorno a noi...ci sono pakistani,iraniani, indiani, sudafricani,americani,canadesi..e io e te italiani...francesi e inglesi....in Italia si parla di globalizzazione....ma non sanno che cosa e'...guarda
qui viviamo gia' nella globalizzazione ...siamo seduti che ridiamo e scherziamo insieme e a nessuno di noi pesa il fatto di essere di diverse nazionalita', culture ,religioni  diverse  .... sono stato zitto ad ascoltare...e devo ammetterlo ..era vero...!! se penso che in Italia non si vedra' mai..o forse si vedra' tra 20 anni (forse) ....!!
Molti mi chiedono ma non vuoi tornare in Italia?...la mia risposta e sempre stata la stessa...perche' devo tornare in un posto (ITALIA) dove dovro' littigare con persone che littigano per un posto macchina...oppure si sparano per futili motivi? Taiwan cresce ... e noi  siamo qua!! noi non siamo EXTRACOMUNITARI...o almeno i Taiwanesi non ci fanno sentire tali....

JAZZ FESTIVAL in Taichung dal 16 al 24 Ottobre 2010

Per chi vive a Taichung sa che ogni anno nel mese di ottobre ci viene regalato un FESTIVAL di musica Jazz

dico regalato perche' i concerti sono totalmente gratis .. l'anno scorso ho potuto conoscere RIVA e la sua Band che sono venuti a suonare qui!!... che dire...magici!! e grazie alla mia maglia da JUVENTINO sono riuscito a strappare una serata per vedere giocare la Juve(Juventus -Fiorentina) insieme a  GIANLUCA PETRELLA  che dire...gran bella persona e ottimo musicista  (ho avuto modo di passare alcune ore insieme) e spero che venga di nuovo in Taiwan ).
Comunque anche quest'anno si prospetta un gran bel concerto qui il link del JAZZ FESTIVAL ...chi fosse in Taichung durante questo periodo per lavoro o per semplice visita...non e da perdere questo evento.
